Program - NESAT XII in Hallstatt

The NESAT XII symposium will be organized by the Natural History Museum Vienna on 21st till 24th of May 2014 in Hallstatt, Austria

Following the example of the previous conferences in Copenhagen (Denmark) and Esslingen (Germany), NESAT XII will consider prehistoric and historic textile finds, focused on contextual analysis of finds, new methods. Papers on other current research topics related to archaeological textiles are also welcome. The organizers encourage papers that present lesser known or recently excavated textiles, techniques and iconography that will generate discussion and exchange of information among the conference attendees.
In addition, this conference will introduce a poster session. Posters can focus on any topic related to archaeological textiles, but should be primarily visual.

Papers will be presented in English or German.
