NESAT XI - Poster Presentation

The poster presentation will take place on May 11, 2011. It will focus on two subjects:

1) Experimental Archaeology
2) Textile Archaeology - from Excavation to Exhibition

You can find the poster presentation abstracts in the „Abstracts“ menu. When NESAT XI has ended, the poster presentation shall be made accessible to the interested public. Since the presentation shall receive a consistent layout, we will publish the respective guideline on this website in fall 2010. We will notify the poster presentation participants as soon as it is online. The posters will be printed by the Landesdenkmalamt in Esslingen.

Please note that the poster presentation plus its publication in the NESAT XI volume might require two different text versions. For publication in the NESAT XI volume, the guideline you can find on this website’s section NESAT XI Volume applies.

Poster Layout

We decided to use a uniform layout for the NESAT XI poster presentation to make it more descriptive as a whole, i.e. to make the single contributions stand out, and also to convey a better impression of the broad range of topics in textile archaeology. As far as this is desired, the posters can be put online on the NESAT XI website. It is also planned that NESAT members may borrow the poster presentation (or parts thereof) when NESAT XI is over to display it at other conferences dealing with the same field or related fields.
